Welcome! I'm Meaghan.

Hi! I am a wife and mother of 3 young kids and we live in the south shore of Boston. I am an adjunct Chemistry professor who also loves to eat well and lift heavy things. My journey here has been atypical; I haven't been a fitness professional all my life. I've been someone who has always enjoyed exercise but I've faced some hurdles on a path to a healthy relationship with my body, with food, and with fitness. I love connecting with people on their journey to a happier and healthier life. I'm not perfect, I eat pizza and ice cream and I miss workouts sometimes, but I am consistent when creating healthy habits that make my life easier, healthier and make me feel good. I am still a work in progress. I strive to build muscle, eat nutritious food and maintain a healthy metabolism, all while still enjoying my life! It's about balance, self-compassion, hard work, and remaining open to change and progress.

I started in group fitness when I was in graduate school. It was a way for me to focus my energy on something other than Chemistry, but it was also a way to heal my body and mind by working with others. I started teaching a few classes a week and began making training programs for running half marathons and 10K races for myself and some friends. After I graduated, I exercised on my own and took a break from teaching group fitness. I got married, got a job, and after having my first two children, I quit my full time job...and panicked. I happily began teaching group fitness again, and as soon as I got my own class, I found out I was pregnant with my third! My experience navigating that pregnancy while teaching was invaluable and I have been immersed in the fitness and wellness space ever since.
I’ve transformed my own body from a period of deprivation, weight gain, three pregnancies, postpartum life, and have learned an incredible amount in the process. I am certified in group fitness, Spinning, am a certified personal training and am a certified nutrition coach. I love to use my experience, and science based methods to help others through their fitness journey. Lifestyle changes will not happen if you don’t enjoy and find value in what you're doing, so I like to find a modality of movement and exercise that fits for the individual. Much like workouts, there is not one nutritional plan that works for everyone, so finding ways to build in good nutritional practices that are enjoyable and sustainable for the individual is important.
I’ve made many mistakes, I’ve had successes, and I love to pass on what I’ve learned to others. I want everyone to be proud of what their body can do, move correctly and painlessly, and fully enjoy their lives. I believe that incremental changes, consistency, and patience are the key to lifelong wellness.
If you set GOALS, and give yourself some GRACE, you will see the GAINS.

I am a certified group fitness instructor, Spinning instructor, and certified personal trainer.
Personal Training
I believe that everyone should be able to move and feel their best. Gaining strength, mobility, and confidence is a really great place to start. I will assess where you're at and create a program that will gradually progress your fitness and will help you to reach your goals. Over time, you will get stronger, feel better, and be more educated about your workouts. Having a trainer to answer your questions, to provide science based programming, and to support you is invaluable. We track your workouts so you can see the strength gains you've made in addition to your physical progress you can see.
